 Chez Jallot is
“The Creuse House”, as featured in
channel 4’s Grand Designs Abroad.
Since the programme was first televised
in September 2004, the manor has been
finished to a very high standard.
Deni and Doug now invite you to visit
their beautiful home, finished in a
grand French style.
Chez Jallot is set in around 1.6
hectares on the side of a quiet valley,
with wonderful views across the
surrounding countryside. It is a haven
of peace and tranquillity, remote and
delightfully rural. With excellent
walking country all around, the manor is
well situated for exploring the area on
foot, cycle or car. Lake Vassiviere is
just fifteen minutes away, and the towns
of Guéret, Bourganeuf and Aubusson are
all within thirty minutes drive.
The interior offers five beautifully
furnished bedrooms, all with en-suite
bathrooms.
Two large and comfortable rooms-
theAubusson and Forest rooms- have
either a whirlpool bath or walk in
drencher shower. The Master bedroom and
the Hummingbird Suite are both fifty
sq.m, offering even more space for a
longer stay, or just a touch of luxury
at any time.
The Family room offers twin bedded
accommodation, plus an adjoining room
with a further two beds.
 There
is a large lounge/diner with a welcoming
wood burner to take the chill off winter
nights, a well-equipped gymnasium in the
attic and a small library.
Outside, the gardens are developing into
a pretty place to relax in the sun.
There is a tunnel, which leads down to
an ancient lavoir, and the adjoining
land is being cleared to provide quiet
wooded walks. Our Potager produces good
fresh vegetables in season, to
compliment our evening meals where the
emphasis is on freshness and quality.

 Le
Verger Luxury Bed and Breakfast is
located on the outskirts of the small
chateau town of Bourganeuf.
The house is stunning, built during the
19th century and full of original
features. It is surrounded by 2.5 acres
of gardens. The grounds and outdoor
swimming pool offer a rural retreat with
enticing views of the Limousin
countryside, whilst within a few minutes
walk Bourganeuf has all amenities and a
bustling weekly market.
 Le Verger has four double bedrooms and a
family suite which comprises two
bedrooms. All have ensuite bathrooms and
are elegantly furnished with high
quality furniture. They are individually
finished with features such as beautiful
handmade bedspreads and, as Le Verger is
in the heart of the famous Limoges
porcelain industry, pieces from the
local manufacturers.
The
bathrooms are spacious and fitted with
traditional suites, two have deep roll
top baths for ultimate relaxation. The
house is double glazed and fitted with
central heating throughout, which is
essential for our guests during the
colder months.
The bedrooms have beautiful views and
original features. Our guests are
provided with tea and coffee making
facilities, complimentary bathroom
condiments and quality towels that are
changed daily.
