Just outside Guéret on the route to La Chatre the Clos Fleuri has rapidly acquired a good reputation and is very popular at lunchtimes. The decoration is modern and colourful and the gastronomique menu offers good food at a reasonable price. Authentic country Auberge situated in the heart of the village of Tercillat. This restaurant is well known in the area and does get very busy at lunchtimes so it is best to book or arrive early. Lunch with as much wine as you can drink is as little as ten euros and evening meals start at 15 euros. The huge log fire in the dining room is warm and friendly as is the greeting from owner Cathy and her daughter Gail. In the summer lunch is a buffet and you can enjoy the sunshine sitting in the garden. This Auberge is definitely worth a visit.
